Under the EB-5 Program, USCIS sets aside permanent visas related to capital investment by foreign investors. Under a pilot program enacted in 1992, certain EB-5 Visas are set aside for investors in Regional Centers, which are authorized by USCIS, and can assist investors in managing their investment for purposes of receiving approval under the EB-5 Program. While Regional Centers generally require a minimum investment of $1 million, this figure can be reduced to $500,000 if the Regional Center is located in a Targeted Employment Area.
