Family Based Immigration

For those with family members who are US Citizens or permanent resident, family based immigration is always a possibility. If you are a US Citizen and wish to sponsor your spouse, child (under 21), son, daughter, parent, brother or sister, or fiancee there are various immigrant and non-immigrant possibilities. Likewise if you are a permanent resident and wish to sponsor your spouse, child or son or daughter, there are also possibilities as well. Many of the above categories are backlogged, meaning there are more people applying every year than there are immigrant visas available, so, in some cases, it may take many years to get a green card through this process. However, please call us to discuss your particular case so that we can help you determine if it would be possible to use family based immigration and what the timelines would be in your particular case.
